VOLUNTARY RECALL CAMPAIGN

On occasion, to ensure the safety and high quality of Nissan vehicles, Nissan may recall customers for a free repair or vehicle update.

 

Recall Campaigns

Recalls are preventative checks that we sometimes carry out on a specific group of vehicles to identify potential faults. If you are notified that your vehicle is eligible, we urge you to contact your Nissan dealer as soon as possible to arrange a free repair.

 

I did not receive a letter from Nissan. How can I check if my vehicle has any outstanding campaigns?

Nissan has launched a dedicated online VIN checker tool, available at the end of this page, to help you check for any outstanding recall campaigns.

To find out if your vehicle is affected by any other campaigns, please contact your nearest Nissan dealer.

 

What to expect from Nissan if you are affected by a recall campaign:

    • A free repair or update to prevent any impact on your Nissan vehicle experience
    • The use of only genuine Nissan parts at an authorized Nissan dealer
    • All repairs come with our standard service warranty
    • We will do our best to schedule an appointment at your convenience
    • Contact through your preferred method of communication (email or phone)

 

VIN Checker Tool

At Nissan, customer safety is always our top priority. If we identify a defect in any part of a Nissan vehicle, we will issue a recall to repair or replace that part at no extra cost to you.

To determine whether your Nissan is affected by a safety recall, we need to identify your vehicle. Enter your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) below to find out if your car is affected.

Enter your Vehicle Identification Number* (VIN) to check whether your vehicle is included in a recall campaign.

The VIN can be found on your vehicle registration document under the frame number / NIK / VIN section.

Accepted format: 1–17 characters (all characters allowed)

 

 

Please note that the VIN entered may have had outstanding campaign(s) at the time the data was uploaded on the website. If your vehicle was recently serviced or repaired at one of our dealers, the campaign may have already been completed and the status may have changed. Please contact Nissan to confirm whether there are any outstanding campaigns for your vehicle.

If your vehicle was recently at one of our dealers for a routine service or for repairs, the campaign may have also been resolved and the status may have changed. Please contact Nissan to check if there is still an outstanding campaign on your vehicle.
